The Leadership Board is scheduled to meet

Summary of Recent Board Actions

October 2025

• The Lakeside Leadership Board approved the following items:
• Recommendation letter for Dr. Margarette Williams to continue her certification towards becoming a licensed local pastor.
• Dispersal of full balance of designated monies for Neighbor to Neighbor.
• Approval of $5000.00 from the Mission Fund to support estab- lished local organization distributing food if needed.
• Repair and upgrade of furniture in the parlor from Memorial Fund.
• Clergy compensation and new Leadership Board members for Charge Conference.
• Office Holiday hours for 2025. Open regular hours Dec. 22nd-24th and Monday, the 29th. The office will be closed Dec. 25th, 30-31st.
• There will be one Christmas Eve Service at 4:00pm on Dec. 24th.
• The final 2025 Board Meeting will be Tuesday, December 9th at 5:30 in the Library.

November & December 2025

• The Lakeside Leadership Board approved the following items:
•  2026 budget was approved as submitted
• Pastors’ evaluations were completed, with strong recommendation to the Conference that both Pastor Sara and Pastor Sam remain at Lakeside.
• 2026 Church insurance policy was approved and renewed.
• Elizabeth Hardin was approved to fill a vacancy on the board.
• Tentative 2026 Church calendar
  

                1. Stewardship Campaign February 1-22, concluding with a                         Townhall Meeting and potluck on February 22nd.
                  2. Townhall/ potluck #2 with a “welcome back” to pastors                             on July 20th.
​                  3. Townhall/potluck #3 will be November 20th.
