Summary of Recent Board Actions

September 2025

• Cottage Meetings for the congregation to meet with Pastor Sara have been successfully completed.
• The next Townhall meeting has been moved to November 2nd. This meeting will include a church-wide potluck.
• The board approved a proposal to explore protective fencing for our chil dren’s After- school/Project Transformation play area.
• Nominations were made and church officers for 2026 were approved.
• Charge Conference for Lakeside has been scheduled for Sunday, November 9 at 3:00p.m. This cluster meeting will be held at St. James, Pine Bluff.

October 2025

• The Lakeside Leadership Board approved the following items:
  
• Recommendation letter for Dr. Margarette Williams to continue her certification towards becoming a licensed local pastor.
  
• Dispersal of full balance of designated monies for Neighbor to Neighbor.
  
• Approval of $5000.00 from the Mission Fund to support estab- lished local organization distributing food if needed.
  
• Repair and upgrade of furniture in the parlor from Memorial Fund.
  
• Clergy compensation and new Leadership Board members for Charge Conference.
  
• Office Holiday hours for 2025. Open regular hours Dec. 22nd-24th and Monday, the 29th. The office will be closed Dec. 25th, 30-31st.
  
• There will be one Christmas Eve Service at 4:00pm on Dec. 24th.
  
• The final 2025 Board Meeting will be Tuesday, December 9th at 5:30 in the Library.
